EBA Case G3/08 - Amicus Curiae BriefsSunday, April 26. 2009
by end of April 2009. Today it appears to be high time to put a reminder out concerning that opportunity. According to the EPO website, at least the following Amicus curiae briefs have been filed so far:
Frankly, the various branches of the affected Industries appear to be quite under-represented in this list. Or has the Office of the EBA further submissions lying on the desk which are not yet included? Tools

Have a look what Philips submitted. Trips is irrelevant for the EPO boards of appeal and subject to WTO settlement. You would not expect something like that from lobby hired guns, not lawyers in the field.

leave it a couple of weeks and then check the epo website again
The number of amicus curiae briefs available on the EPO website has already more than doubled since the blog post. Not too many from big industry so far, but indeed there is still time left.
The patent industry is the most affected industry.
They should be more organised to make their voices heard.
It seems that right now the developers in sandals are more active in order to steal IP.
