Tuesday, March 20, 2007JURI Has Voted On Draft Report Concerning IPRED2. Today, the Committee on Legal Affairs (JURI) of the European Parliament did not only listen to  Mr. McCreevy's speech but also took a vote on the adoption of a draft report set up by Ms. Nicola Zingaretti (PSE) concerning Criminal measures aimed at ensuring the enforcement of intellectual property rights aka IPRED2.Numerous amendmends (see here and here) to the original Draft report had been tabled.I haven't yet seen any Official paper reporting the voting results but FFII is already complaining ...[UPDATE 2007-03-30]A Summary of the meeting of the Committee on Legal Affairs (JURI), Brussels, March 19-20, 2007, is available on-line.Technorati Tags: IPRED2
