Monday, March 27, 2006Only Five Days Left: "On The Patent System in Europe".I would like just to remind you that there are only five days left up tofor responding to the  Consultation of the EU Commission "On the patent system in Europe". I think it is important that as many companies as possible (not only those briefed by the various groups of anti-patent campaigners) having stakes in Europe will participate.Technorati Tags: Patents
Actually, I was surprised at the lack of 'anti-patents-campaigners' telling me to fill out this questionnaire. It seems to support my impression that most of the FLOSS community (of which I consider myself a member) was not so much "against patents" in general, but mostly had serious concerns with the way the directive had been implemented. Personally I'm still not sure if I can make an informed/insightful enough contribution to be useful.  Post a Comment
