European Patent Office (EPO) has indicated that on June 16, 2003, the President of the European Patent Office and the Minister for European Integration of the Republic of Croatia had signed an agreement on co-operation in the field of patents (Co-operation and Extension Agreement). The agreement enters into force on April 01, 2004. From this date it will be possible to extend the protection conferred by European patent applications and patents to the Republic of Croatia.
